Please women be aware that if you sign up, on the internet,  for a free sample of a cosmetic and you have to give your credit card because a small amount for shipping, understand that you MUST CALL IN 14 DAYS  so that you won't get other "free samples" that can cost you $400 a month. Stupid me didn't understand this. I have received 3 small bottles of a cosmetic cream. For that it cost $400 dollars a month.  When they continue to send it to you, there is NO BILL in with the bottles. The only time you realize what you are paying for, is when the credit card bill appears.
My husband casually said to me, "what are you ordering that our bill is so high?" I told him I didn't order anything that should appear on our bill.  Well, he showed me the bill today. I have called the company and they will do nothing except stop any other unauthorized shipments. I could've gone and purchased the most expensive cosmetic I could find at any store and not pay that outrageous amount.
We have discovered that I signed up for 1 company and the same company in 4 different locations are billing me.
I have received some more and have not opened them, but the company Nova Care will not take them back.
Again, there is no billing in the package to tell you what the cost is.
I have tweeted the name of this company and hope I can save some other senior citizen from falling into this trap. The CC company agreed it was a scam, but they can do nothing.
What has been done is fraudulent and unauthorized use of my credit card and I seem to be helpless to do anything about it except complain.
However, I am writing to the Better Business Bureau and since my hubby and my son are attorneys, I will try and do something through the courts.

    It's a common cramming scam..
Send a WRITTEN dispute to your credit card company to dispute the charge, and block your card number to prevent further charges.  They're going out of their way to not adequately "disclose" that they will be making large charges, and that is a violation of the VISA and MasterCard merchant agreements.
