I just recieved 3 back to back calls on my co.phone and company cell by a heavy accented man. The only part I understood was that if I did not call him he could not help what was about to befall me.I call and he said there were three criminal charges pending against me and I needed to call Mr.Cooper, however that number now clicks off. He did have my last 4 digits of social security #.Now I am worried.

Callers are usually from overseas, often India or Pakistan.
Report to the FBI, and ignore their threats.
Western Union or Moneygram?
Prepaid Walmart debit card or other prepaid debit card?
Or did they process a charge against your bank account, or debit or credit card number?
If the latter, you can file a fraud dispute through your bank, and reverse the charge, as long as you do so within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the disputed charge, under FRB Reg. E or FCBA. Be sure to close or block any account you provided to them, to prevent additional fraud.
