I have started receiving call from this company from different numbers. The numbers are local numbers made to appear as someone's cell phone number in this area. I don't believe they are from this area. I have called the number 2 times and been told both times that they were trying to contact me regarding a payday loan I had never repaid. The company they say I owe "Riverside Payday Loans" I have never dealt with. They are looking for me under my name before I married and using the old address where I lived. They give out my bank name and say that they have the routing number and account number. They give the last 4 numbers of my social. The lady accused me of being rude and saying I was talking over her and should just listen. I told the woman that I was not going to be intimidated and she stated that law enforcement would serve papers at my address this afternoon. I told her today that this was the same thing they told me about 2 months ago. She would not stop talking and harassing me and being rude so I just hung up on her.

    It's a scam..
    If the accent sounds "US English", maybe some dialect, it's probably US based, and they've probably set themselves up as a "collection agency" with access to credit reports or skip-tracing.  That's enough information to try to fake the appearance of a "payday loan", since it might give them information on current or past bank accounts, old credit card accounts, etc.

    The company is very rude, the lady I spoke with would not give me any information on what the call was about. She stated that I will be served with papers. I gave her my address to update the information when I asked her to send information she refused & stated she could not they are only a collection company basically. She said its not my fault you take out loans & don't pay them back. I still do not know what this call is about or referring too.

    Anyone receive calls from 855-409-8922 or 855-376-0208 and also 415-761-3242? saying that you'll be sued for $4,000. but company Riverside Lending will accept $400 to settle. WTF??

      Yes I just did receive a call stating that riverside lending is filing against me for 0.00 check then I said I never even heard about these people I stay getting calls like this .then the guy said would u like to disput it I said yes he said just wait on the papers and hung up ..Now I'm hot and called back and they kept handing up on me . So another guy answers and says I had a loan in 2012 for 400 dollars not me and it's going to be twice the amount infont of the judge I said I never heard of this place

    Just had the same thing happen - 866-473-6917 and859-429-7286 called about "payday" loan from Riverside Lending - said owed over $3300 with court costs but would take $401 to settle.  Would NOT provided anything else.   MOSES was his name.  WTF???????
