Unprocessing of the claim for damaged and missing items by the company

1. We had booked our household items by DRS Agarwal packers & movers DRS from Udhampur (J&K) to Hyderabad on being transferred from 12 May 16 vide GC No. 4468144 in 33 feet vehicle. The truck was promised to reach us on 19 May 16 in Hyderabad.
2. We had a distressing and harrowing experience from DRS Agarwal packers & movers. We also had to face lot of harassment from the staff of the company who were not at all helpful but made false promises at every step. The grievances are as follows;
a. The truck was changed at Delhi from a 33 feet to 22 feet truck and the luggage of the house transferred in our absence without our consent or information, in fact we came to know about it when we gave a routine call to the driver to enquire about its whereabouts.
b. The company could not tell clearly the whereabouts of the truck even after ten days of start from Udhampur. On enquiring the tracking team to know the whereabouts of truck, they were quite rude and unhelpful. They would promise to get back to us in two hours with information but never did so.
c. After ten days of not knowing the exact location of our house hold items we were forced to visit the head office at Secunderabad. We met the GM Mr. Rao and VP Mr. Dalal and they promised that our truck would reach us in next two days. The truck took its own sweet time and reached us on 27 May 16 (16 days). The reasons for delay in arrival were infructuous and unconvincing. They said that truck driver was sick and truck had broken down etc. Due to this it incurred us a heavy financial loss as we had to stay in hotel.
d. The change of luggage from the truck led to damages and loss (one trunk and one card board box) of household items. This was shown and a list given to the supervisor at the time of offloading of items. Initially they refused to offload till balance of Rs 5000 is paid. It was told by Mr Raju Supervisor Delivery that the damages will be dealt and compensated or repaired later.
e. The installation of AC and Invertor were promised at the time of deal and money taken for it from us by the company. Despite repeated calls to them nobody turned up for installation and we had to get them installed by other agencies.
f. An application of damaged and loss items was handed over to the Carpenter who came only to assess the damage and loss items. A copy of same was forwarded to the GM Mr. Rao on his mobile through WhatsApp. The repair of household items and settlement of loss items claim was promised every time we called up, but till date nobody has come to settle the damages. The company has also taken money for insuring the goods.
3. The company claims to believe in the Quality of services as the path to win the market and satisfaction of their customers. Is this really how they give service and satisfaction and plans to achieve it? Looks like nobody bothers about the clients in the company. All their concerns are mere eye wash.
4. This is the worst experience we have faced ever, as we keep moving on transfers every 2-3 years. The unreliable service and irresponsible behavior of the DRS Agarwal packers & movers has left us in total distrust in them and will surely not recommend it to anyone ever again.
