I have had this Maytag since 2005 without a problem till now. The start /cancel cycle would not work. My husband and I took the machine apart and there was a small connection with a slit that fell out because of bad design and  acheap plastic part that would not hold. We got it to hold and the machine put back together started. Only the Sanitize light works so back to the drawing board to see why the lights are not working. It appears that the dishwasher is doing something as it is working.
