deception

i rented a car through carfrental.com...never again.  i gave them my amex number and i received a confirmation number.
nothing that carrental.com said was in agreement with payless car rental (pittsburgh) the treatment from the local payless person was rude. "I really dont care what carrental.com says, I need to follow my policy".
I booked this reservation for a business associate whom I respect. The embarrassement was beyond belief.
