I purchased tickets to greece in september 2011. had to pay for both departing and return pair of tic twice (because of incompetent staff in the airport and absent customer service). There is only one US representative that can solve issue credit and she was on maternity leave it took me 2 full time days of work to find that out I had to go via my bank (credit card).
I canceled last 4th ticket within 4hrs and still got chanrged. I ended up paying $1000 each just to go with british airways back home was so desperate from dealing with turkish.
Also they lost my luggage and i had to go to the airport to pick it up and they wouldnt even refund cab fare.
UNDER NO CONDITION FLY TURKISH AIR. THE CHEAPER RATES ARE IRRELEVANT IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM YOU WILL GO THROUGH HELL AND GET NO WHERE.
