I called to cancel a payment in the amount of 29.95 for some coupons after ordering a 'SlimT shirt that I saw advertise on t.v. I received a phone call about this offer and these coupons. I don't want the coupons and I will be calling on Monday to make sure that that money is'nt taken out of my credit card.If the company does'nt comply, than I will call my credit card company so that the payment will be refused.

Whatever they said, and regardless of whether you agreed, or requested to cancel, it will probably turn into monthly charges, supposedly for some "membership" in a "discount club".
You have already "cancelled", but odds are they will "forget" or "lose" the "cancellation". They might also "cancel" now, but start charging several months from now. The whole concept of this type of scam is to slip through small charges that people might miss for as long as possible, while using "confusion" or other forms of deception to create excuses to keep taking your money.
Contact your bank NOW, and indicate that a shady company has your card number. They will block the number and issue a new card number.
Keep a close watch on the next several statements, since these "memberships" are generally set up as "automatic" monthly charges, so they might roll over to your new card number for several periods.
