I get a call at least once a week about reducing my credit card debt. I have asked not to call me, because I don't need their services, and that I'm registered on a do not call list. They keep calling and are abusive when I try to get the particulars about their company. They only information they will give me is "card services". When I continue to press for more information they call me a [***].
This is invasion of my home, and I would like it stopped. These types of companies need to be fined out of existance.

Do you have caller id, and if so, did it show anything?
If your are on the Do Not Call list, file complaints with FTC whenever they call.
Abusive calls sounds like a real effective way to get people to disclose their credit card information. Of course, maybe they are only looking for those naive enough to do so anyway, so it doesn't make any difference how they treat people who won't get conned anyway.
