This is an OLD SCAM.      Report at www.ic3.gov --  www.consumerfinance.gov -- your state attorney general & delete it.  (Check the pathetic grammar!)

Received an identical message (down to the loan number and company involved) from a separate individual.  I'm having a great deal of fun toying with them right now - and I haven't even tipped them off yet that there's identical e-mails sent to other people yet.  In this case, they're not using a Google e-mail account - it's from an actual registered domain... so I've kindly sent a letter to the domain registrar notifying them that they could be a party to fraud... we'll see what happens. :)

I received the same exact message, down to the loan number, company involved, and even the amount owed. Almost had me, because I did take out a loan a few years ago, but I could have sworn I paid them. Thank God I looked up the info first!

I received the SAME exact email from an Angela Walker from Advance America Corporation. Funny how we all owe the exact same amount!

I received the exact message, with the same loan number and amount owed.  Other than I didn't take out any loans, the biggest tip is the way they word their emails, "sacked by my employer".  That is classic.  I work for the government and I didn't know the government will sack me for unpaid bills.
