I will no longer shop at Dillard because of their return policy.  3 days on clearance and 30 days on other merchandise.  No other department store has these strict return policies.  I use to like to purchase sale items for my grandchildren, who live out of state - so 3 days won't work!  I will shop elsewhere.

    Same here. I send little gift packages to my granddaughter in Colorado. No way I will ever buy from Dillard's on clearance or not. 3 day policy is unrealistic for local shopping and 30 days isn't enough to buy, ship, wait for my busy daughter to mail it back, etc, etc...  The Dillard's in my town is so dead. Guess this is their misguided attempt to hold on to the little sells they get. Think it is a sign of the end is near for them.
