I too have had unauthorized charges made to may charge card for 74.95 plus a 2.24 fee for a foreign transaction. It will take several months too clear up the probelm for good.  We all must have had the merchant or company in common. It would be interesting to find out where the link was.  Good luck.  My bank reversed the charges.

    Numerous similar reports of fraudulent charges are being reported on other threads.  It appears that "Digital Star Ltd." was "dissolved" on Jan. 29, 2012.  It looks like their merchant account is now under control of criminals submitting fraudulent charges.

    If you are getting fraudulent charges, IMMEDIATELY block the card number, and submit a fraud dispute to your bank.  Your bank can reverse fraudulent charges if you dispute promptly.


    As for a link, there are at least 2 reports of small pings (pending $1 charges, that then go away) followed by the larger fraudulent charges. One report was 3 pings through Amazon, another 1 ping through "speedway" (a gas station?).

    This may not even be a hack.  The crooks might be just trying blocks of card numbers and expiration dates through some online merchants to see what goes through, then running the fraudulent charges through the account of "digital star", which appears to be abandoned, in order to complete the theft.
