I live in Coimbatore and have Dish TV since December 2007, all was well till Feb 2008. The signal went down to 1% for some reason and it needed to be realigned.
I called Dish TV customer support they said that their service technician will be at my place within 48 hours. Its now 6 days since my fist call, I have been calling them daily and spending hours on hold and being disconnected many times and I get the same old story from them. Till today there is no sign of a service guy or any follow up call from Dish TV.
To top it all – Dish TV told me that their nearest service center is situated in another City - at Namakkal about 130 Km away from Coimbatore. I called Namakkal and they laughed at me. Naturally!!
A local electrician and an expert at Dish TV problems offered to do it for Rs. 200. ( he’s apparently well aware of the lousy customer service Dish TV provides, and making a quick buck out of it.) . I called him and he was at my place in 15 minutes and realigned the dish in another 15 minutes.
So don’t forget to budget for expensive maintenance and long hours on the phone before you purchase your Dish TV.
And for heavens sake do not call DISH TV Customer care.

i have a same story related to yours personal experience.
i requested to all the readers that please do not beleive on any reputed company, they may have fake promises.
