I booked a trip without checking them out first. The departure flight was never booked, although on emailed itinerary. Departure flight airline did not have my booking, but the return airline did. I cancelled my credit card immediately--good thing because three days later, I still had no departing flight! And one day later Cheapoair emailed me: "because of technical difficulties, we have to charge $100 extra."  You cannot reach this people EVER. You are cut off even after someone from India forwards your call. I got a message on cell from Cheapoair about "my credit card company declining the charge" but when I repeatedly called the number they left, I was always disconnected. Today, 4 days later, I got an email telling me they canceled my flight.  If I had not cancelled my card, I would have been booked $100 extra, and not had a departure flight. And if I ever got through to them, would no doubt paid more money for the rebooking of the outbound flight. These yoyo's are based in NYC.

Linda, i believe i am about to get scammed by CheapOAir. Recently I booked a flight thru them for an international travel on 5/26. They issued me a paper ticket. I was very surprise at first but after seeing confirmation of my travel on airline website, i was confident that it is good reservation. But yesterday (5/6) CheapOAir, contacted me stating that the paper ticket issued is not valid and i should return them immediately for making a new booking. Here is the email i got. don;t know what to do now. we are 2 weeks away from our travel. Any suggestion?

    Dear Mr Krish,

We refer to your Booking Number xxxxxxx with CheapOair.com.

I just booked a flight and car through CheapOAir.  While I had no problems with the flight, when I got my rental car, they charged me almost twice what I booked through CheapOAir.  I called COA and they told me that their quote was only an estimate...$33/day estimated versus $60/day charged!  I've e-mailed COA with no response so far!

Never use CheapOAir if you actually want to get what you booked!

I tried booking my friend a flight from B.C through CheepOair.ca and it ripped her off big time. She had finished giving them her credit card numbers after being on hold for 30 minutes. They "lost her call" so when she tried calling them back they hung up on her over and over. They would not give her or me any names and they wouldn't put us through to anyone. They were extremely unprofessional and I would never recommend this service to anyone because it is not legit. It is directly ripping of my friend and the airline companies and I believe they have no ties to each other. Do not use this site if you want to book a flight or anything to do with travel.
