Not a rip off if you buy moderate to high end merchandise

For those considering purchasing a direct buy membership, it only makes sense if you are going to purchase more expensive items.  As an example, we recently purchased a bedroom grouping of furniture and saved close to $3000 compared to the best price I could find elsewhere.  This includes the 8% fee they charge on each purchase.  In just two furniture purchases, we re-couped more than the entire cost of the membership + the annual renewals.  If you buy good merchandise, it is worth it.  I would also agree that with so much merchandise available on-line, there are fewer things that we purchase at direct buy now but the best thing about it is, we know what the wholesale cost of the product is to see if we are getting a good deal or not.
