I believe that I have just been a victim of a scam on the World Wide Web. I decided to apply for membership of "Fullsoftwaredownload.net" and used my Mastercard to pay.It came to 345.79. According to Gnutella this is just one of hundreds of similar scam sites perpetrated by an individual living in South America.(Paraguay?). Regards.

P.S. Is there anyway that my Mastercard Provider can prevent the transfer of the above sum of money? And, as He must now have details of my card what is to stop him from using them to extract further sums of money from my credit card account?
