Direct T.V. receiver box change

My partner and I bought a Samsung LED television with HD. When the technicians were hooking it up we were informed that we would also need to change the receiver to accomodate the HD. We immedietely called Direct TV and requested it. The receiver arrived within the time table as outlined by the Direct TV representative. Soon after receipt of the new receiver I called Direct TV for instructions for hook-up. Forty-five minutes later the representative (Shanade) informed me that the unit was sent without the proper configuration(an in-line filter) and another representative would have to asist me. After another full diagnostic procedure that was already accomplished by the first rep. I was informed of the same information that was outlined by the first rep. He added that the code displayed on the screen (771) would have to be taken by another representative. He added that it would not be more than ten minutes. He had taken another fifteen minutes. So the code 771 guy, after another period of time said that the filter that was not sent with the receiver was in fact ordered and would arrive in two to five working days. It was then that I requested a Supervisor. The supervisor(Sarah #436013) was professional and said all the right things like "we understand your frustration" but the fact was that I had spent almost two hours on the phone without satisfaction, and was told that I would have to wait yet another few days. Now we have paid in full for a service that was not only not honored but all confidence in Direct TV lost. The supervisor did give a measure of understanding with a $15 credit for my inconveneince, and told me of another option called a "terms without service" credit. Just go onto DirectTV.com to request it. I tried but after scrolling through 43 pages of links displayed by your website there is no mention of this option. All of these things and still there is no joy. We have done all that is asked but you have not. Perhaps this complaint is heard by the ears of someone that is competant enough to "make it right".
