I was contacted today by ARRA2009.com with phone number 206-317-1502    stating that I did not apply bankruptcy and no criminal background and that I pay my bills on time I qualify federal stimulus of $9,000 to receive in 15 minutes at Money Gram by I have to purchase $212 money activation voucher and provide them with security code. I asked that their website has no contact information - Elvarica stated that their address is 200 Independence Ave SW Washington DC 20201 that is not their address and when I called her back to report their scam to FBI, the phone number is disconnected.....

    A woman just called me about a $9000 grant from the government for free.  Figured it was fake because when does the government ever give anyone anything for free?  I looked up the number she told me to call and here it is listed, so I'm leaving my comment for anyone else she calls to try to scam.

      I was just call by a woman in D.C with only a phone # of202-100-147 last digit was missing from caller I.D. She called twice I only answered the 2nd time. She said she was from the ARRA government distribution center and that she had $ 8,000.00 for me and she just needed my bank acct number or credit card # to deposit it for me. She an accent that was hard for me to understand. I told her who could I contact cuz this sounded like a scam or if I could have her #. She said I couldn't contact her but I could look on my computer for ARRA.This was done on 4/9/2016. Beware I still think its a scam!!!!!

      I got a call few min ago and they told me that i am a winner $9000 so i have to pay only $200 for active my voucher. This is scam !!!!! 100% scam!!!!!

        number is 347-754-4295 Brain Smith 1150. Work ID # ZH937. Told me go to western union pay them $200 and they will activate my voucher for $9000. An i asked them why i got this money from government, Brain told me that i haven't be arrested and pay all my taxes on time that why government gave me those money

          they truly just contract me for the same thing like. how are they getting our numbers to call us..  Their is no way we will get paid free money from anywhere.. This is a scam .. 347-754-4295 and my confirm # ms122... lying ppl tho

    Same people just called me. I'm not stupid enough to every do business over the phone. Especially when the alleged government official sounds like they're calling from India.

    A lady called me and told me since I have no criminal record and i pay my bills in time that i qualify for a government grant of $9500.00. The number that showed up on the caller I'd was 81. I thought that was kinda weird. Anyways she gave me a code and said to call her supervisor at 202-573-9806 and supply her with the code. I did so. Upon doing this she informed me that i could receive the money from Wal mart MoneyGram. All this sounded to good to be true. She then said once arriving at Walmart MoneyGram to purchase a $250.00 prepaid visa card. Upon doing that i would have to call her back and pay her the $250.00. This would release the $9500.00. I then asked her if they had any proof of this being legal. She swore it was and have me a website address to go to. See. WWW.ARRA2009.COM. I went to the site and it looked very sketchy to me. I couldn't find anything that proved all of this is legal or tied to the government in any way. After this I threw away the code she gave me to receive my money and reported this activity on several different websites. PLEASE PLEASE don't fall for this garbage. It makes me angry that there are deadbeats out there that would steal the money from hard working people that barely make enough money to survive in the first place. Beware of scams like this and if you ever get this phone call u hope you choose to hang up. It will save you time, money, and heartache.

    Well I got the call from at air city gal spoutin off at tha mouth sumthing bout gettin picked fer free money. I asked er iffin she thought I was bat chit crazy cuz Uncle Sam don't give away free money unless it's to our enemies. I knowed her to be the wayward type cuz she started bumpin her gums with ( yellow how Be you two day Sir ) !  Ima told ya what. Gotta watch folks with both eyes nowadays ! That varment was callin me from 646-632-1273. P/S I DONT RENT CHICKENS.   🇨🇱🥃🤠

      Dang nab it!  They told me that if I gave them $250 dollars to rent chickens from some Guy in TX that I would get the $9,000 smackers!  I just wanted the chickens!  So, if you aren't renting chickens, can I steal some from you? I wanted to make a coat of the feathers because it's cold up in these parts! :-()

      Seriously though, I got essentially the same song and dance although from 347-754-4295 but I was wise to them, I can't dance and I can't sing a lick so I knew something was goofy!

    Received same call. Male with heavy accent. I could barely understand him. Offered $8,000 federal grant because I have no criminal record nor credit problems. I KNEW THIS WAS A SCAM IMMEDIATELY!!!Asked for their website which confirmed my suspicions. Please do not fall for such trickery!

    Called the number given to me on first call.  As soon as i started asking questions they hung up.  This is sooooo nasty.

    Received call from Bill Allen 202 709 6321 saying for a grant of $9000 via moneygram. My mind didn't accept it and he was unable to answer my questions.
    Its TOTALLY Scam.
    Please shut them up if they call you.

    Just got a call from a NY number telling me I won 9k from the government for paying my taxes and not being arrested. Imagine her surprise when I told her but I don't and I have been! I knew it was a scam from the beginning. They changed the website to a .org to kind more official but are still trying to do the western union/moneygram scam.

    I just received a call from a NY number informing me that the government was giving me 9k for no criminal record and paying my bills on time, and asked me how I would like to receive my money, Walmart, Money Gram, or CVS.  I was tickled so I played along and stated let's go with Walmart for a thousand Alex, so he stated that I need to write down this code and call 347-754-4295 to talk to manager to release the money, I said o ok.  He asked me how old I was which I thought was funny, cause if you work for the government you should know my age so I stated 28, which is far from the truth and he said ok, make sure you call my manager I stated will do.  I knew it was a scam from the start, I was just impressed he said my name correctly, LOL!!!!!!

    I just had that exact thing as SB and they called from 202-100-1000 and a restricted line.  They called twice.  The first time I hung up on them halfway through and the second time I just listened and said yes.  Truly a scam and when I wouldn't give an age, he (Edward with an English accent) said just to call and confirm with his manager at the number listed by SB.  He also said I was awarded this because I had no bankruptcies and files taxes on time for the last 10 years
