Completely dissatisfied

Golds gym is seriously pathetic. I understand the concept of contracts, but I also understand the concept of customer service. I have heard nothing but bad things about Golds gym. I think that they have great facilites but that means nothing if you can't provide your clients with the respect and customer service that they deserve.  They are never willing to work with people and their situations. All I hear are complaints about this gym. To me, business like this do not deserve to exist.  I have never once heard any person speak of a good experience that they had with golds. I went to sign up for a membership and the guy who I met with completely lied to my face. My brother was moving and wanted to sell me his contract and the guy told me "no you can't buy contracts from other people." Being the stupid teenager that I was I listened and just got my own membership. As soon as I got home there was a section in the contract about purchasing contracts from other members and clearly stated that you can. I was beyond pissed. I went back and yelled at the guy and immediately cancelled my membership. He had nothing to say to me because he knew he lied. He looked like a complete idiot.  My husband is now being taken to court over a stupid situation with golds where we are required to pay $1,300 in settlement fees. I have no problem paying for things when they are legitimate, but not for pathetic scams like golds.  I will never ever ever ever go to this gym EVER. I know my opinion does not mean much but I can't wait until the day that golds goes out of business and they are left with a bunch of completely dissatisfied customers because they couldn't provide the least amount of respect and customer service for their clients. They should seriously feel ashamed of their business.
