Will not stop calling

Credit Card Services continue to call 2-3 times a month even though I have informed them that I am on the " Do Not Call List " and to cease calling. Today ( March 31, 2012 ) I handled the call a bit differently. I was about to begin making breakfast for my wife and I when and Credit card services called. The automated call said to hit " 1 " to lower the interest on my credit cards or something to that effect. I hit " 1 " and person name John came on. He asked how much did I owe on my credit cards and on how many cards did I owe money. I said around 6 to 7 thousand and on 3 cards totaled. ( I lied, I don't owe anything on cards ). Then he asked what was the average interest rate on my 3 cards. I said it was around 23%. ( Lied again! I wanted to keep his interest up.) Then he said he needed to confirm the amount of debt on the largest debt of the 3 credit cards and to verify it is current. He wanted me to get the toll free number on the back of card so we both could contact while he is on line. I told him to hold while I get info. I then put phone down and started making breakfast. I would come back after what seemed to be 2 minutes and said " John, you still there? " he said yes. I said hold on, I'm still looking for info. He said " No problem". I finish making breakfast and gave my wife breakfast, I pored myself some O.J. and took a bit to eat. Then I went back to phone after another 2-3 minutes and told John > I confirmed amount of debt with my credit card and confirmed that I am current on my other line". John said > " I have to confirm while I am online, that is our procedure. I told him " Hold on, let me get that number to contact again. ( Basically I was having fun wastimg there time, I wasn't even getting angry or annoyed. In fact I was having fun, laughing everytime I would look at the phone, knowing that he is holding. I came back and told him " I could fax you or email my credit card statement". He said he did not want documentation sent. I told him that if we called my credit card company that they would ask for my credit card number. He said " Yes, thats all I will ask for. That and your address. I will not ask for your security code". I said > " Oh, O.K. I guess thats alright.Hold on.". Then I put down phone for another minute, smiling and laughing a little bit at what i was doing. Picked up phone and told Jogn that I could not give him my credit card number and address for " SECURITY REASONS". Thats a term " Security Reasons " , that I picked up from these callsers. My next call from them I will simply > Answer call > Hit " 1 " to talk with them > When asked for credit card number contact number say > Ok. Hold On > put phone down > go watch TV for while, get something to eat, and finally come back after 10 minutes and hang up.
