POOR WORKMANSHIP

I bought a washer and dryer new 5 years ago.  This week i had an appliance repairmen look at both my washer and dryer. He stated we may as well scrap our washer ( the tub is out of round and needed to be replaced). The dryer doesn't heat up and a part can be replaced. I bought maytag because i've had their washer and dryers before and they lasted 25 years before they needed any major repairs. I will not buy another maytag product. I live on a fixed income and can't afford to shell out extra money for anything. My wife and i use our washers and dryers very infrequently and feel like maytag products don't live up to their billing. Made in usa baugh
