I have had nothing but positive expierences with these folks. I have been on their radio show, interviewed by Christine Larkin ( a true professional) I saw the press release they issued on my behalf. The prices were fair and they even took insallments from me to make it easier to pay. I have only been charged what I ageed to pay them.I am so sick of seeing these lies on this company I can assure you Ashford does not pay me to write this, i just wanted a chance to tell others you have nothing to fear from Ashford when I was done advertising for the year I told them and they thanked me for my business. I told them i will be back with them next year.

Ashford does not always disclose to clients that the parent company owns all the subsidiaries.  My parents were taken on a very bad experience with one of the companies owned by the parent company.  They charged their credit card multiple times, far more than the initial contract, to build their website.  A year later, Ashford come forward and my mother told them the story of how they maxed out their credit card with $15K to $20K in charges, and that they received a website they were displeased with.  Ashford were compassionate and agreed it was terrible and "let us build a new website for you.  We know people at the other company and we'll see if we can get you your money back."  They never stated they were owned by the same mothership.  They, in turn, did the same thing.  They built a basic website, did a "radio" show with them, then started charging their credit cards over a two-month period for somewhere around $40,000 until the cards ran out of credit.  It was a mess and my parent's bank's lawyers got involved.

This is very serious, and my parents had to liquidate a good percentage of their retirement to pay everything off.  My parents *never* agreed to $40,000 in charges for a basic Web site and a radio show.  They had no right to charge thousands and thousands every few days over that two month period.

While some people have had a good experience with Ashford and the other companies it's associated with, this is to make the appearance that they are a legit company.  I'm sure those clients are happy.  Ashford and the others have a running con and they taget certain vulnerable clients and bilk them out of enormous amounts of money.

I've noticed certain individuals on these complaint sites are naive.  They say people like me and my parents are just angry and posting crap about Ashford and these other companies while claiming what a great job the did for them.  I'm sure they did do a great job for them; I'm not disputing that.  I just wish these people (assuming they're not employees of Ashford and the other associated companies) would open their mind to the fact that other clients are being robbed.

Even Tony Soprano ran companies that performed services, like Satrieals (SP?), which was a meat market, and a he also had a recycling center.  To the customers who bought meat and sandwiches from the market and to the people who used the recycling services, I'm sure the service these entities performed was good.  But others had a far different experiences!  The same is true here.

Stay far, far away from Ashford, Premier, and Pinnacle Publishing.  There are many other businesses that are honest that you can go to.  Don't put yourself at risk.
