Iam doing my workout in Wayne, NJ. Facility is good. But people over there doesnt have logical thinking. Iam one of the person who completely frustrated with the people in LA fittness.
When I was trying to cancel my Personal Training member ship, they are giving me hard time. They asked me to provide the proof of location which Iam moving.
1) I had mentioned, I am travelling back to my Country "India".
a) They asked to provide driving liscense copy. My liscense is having validity until 2020. When I showed them, they told it should be renewed before 3 months back. "Can some one tell me is this make sense!!!!!!" The person name is Joanna W. (Club Managers for Member Service)
Whether LA fitnesss is a group who will decide how the country law should be??????
b) Then I told them to use my Passport for address proof which got renewed before few months. I hope only Citizen can get the passport. For this she is responding back saying, every one will get passport with out any issue. Due to this reason they are not accepting the Passport Copy. This is also a same person Joanna W. (Club Managers for Member Service)
c) By some how I provide the passport copy as my proof on 06/20/2011. But after a week, Iam asking about a status, they are telling pending approval. I asked them to provide the system details where it is showing Pending Details. Their response is "it is some where in the system". Can any one tell, is this is a way a Manager can respond.
Due to her activity, I lossed complete intrest with this fitness center.
Also we dont have any escalation procedure to complaint this kind of situation. We always need to call to the member service number, which will be handled by the same person whom we had these kind of discussion.

We were then given offer on second day that, there is no contract and each session would cost around 27$. We then enrolled for 4sessions with a enrollment fee of 50$. We were told to sign on a screen. We were neither explained the legal terms of the contract nor were given the contract agreement.
We were told something and on back they did set up a contract for an year and now they are refusing to cancel the contract. They instead say either I need to buy back paying 50% of the 1yr contract fee or continue the contract.
We are fooled by Jon J and Mike with contract and the operations managers (Chad) is not helping us.
