Last week my "New" furniture was delivered. The product was from The England furniture Comapny. It consisted of a Sofa, Chair and Chair and half. The tuffed backing on the sofa was coming apart. the pillows on sofa & companion chair were uneven, poorly sewn together! The legs on the furniture, i discovered to my dismay were "Plastic" Vs. Wood, hidden by the skirts on the furniture. The chair & half had to be sent back to the store for their upholsteror to repair the leg which kept falling off! When they returned the chair, the leg still kept falling out! All pieces are being returned. The 3 pieces were not low end in cost but not high end either, more midline. However, what I received was definitely Very Poor Qual;ity & Craftsmanship! ADVISE NOT to purchase from this company EVER! Fortunately, the local retailer is taking all back 7 crediting my account and I am starting over with another better known company with a good quality record. May I add I last purchased furniture in 1991 from Thomasville. It is in very good condition except for fabric fading. The entire frame work is solid wood & the legsa! The pillows are in good shape, there is still plenty of padding. All I really required was to replace the blase fabric. Instead i chose to purchase new from England! WRONG CHOICE! So Buyers BEWARE! Have A Happy Day All.

Please accept my apologies for the experiences you have encountered. The description you have given in very uncharacteristic of the products produced by England, Inc. and I can not help to think there is more to the story. I am interested in finding all the facts and will need your assistance to do so. First, can you provide the frame number and fabric application on the products. Second, can you provide the name and location of the store where the purchase was made. Once I have this information I will conduct a thorough investigation and communicate the finding with all key company personel to avoid similar experiences in the future. If you prefer email, I can be reached at philip.arnold@englandfurniture.com
Thanks,
Philip
Normally England, Inc. keeps a small amount of fabric on hand in the event of an unlikely fabric issue. It also sounds that someone should have been more pro-active in helping you resolve this issue. I realize some time has passed since your purchase, however I would like to research your case further. Please provide me with any additional information regarding your purchase and I will be more than happy to see what I can do to help reach and amicable resolution.
