Wells Fargo has been my "mortgage servicer" for the past 8 years. My mortgage is owned by Freddie Mac.
Since I have applied for FORBEARANCE because of job loss and pending disability, they have been HORRIBLE to work with!!!! My assigned representative has changed 4 times in 6 months. I don't get consistent answers from them. They won't answer questions such as how long I have forbearance for, etc.
They now have stopped accepting emails. Furthermore, they don't return telephone calls and forms and applications they promise to send never arrive.
I plan to file a formal complaint with the FTC (federal trade commission). This is one of those many banks that us taxpayers bailed out a few years ago. They are still paying their executives six-figure bonuses, but can't help those who apply for assistance.
