Just reviewed my AmEx statement and saw a charge for $32.46 from DRI*Mediawidget.  I have never purchased anything from this company but my daughter buys her music from ITunes with this card.  After reading the previous posts concerning DRI I believe they have somehow accessed her account and now are trying to rip me off by using her account information.  I called AmEx and had a vendor block placed on my account.

I've been extremely busy the past month and found a fraudulent charge nestled among some travel expenses incurred with a debit card. recur DRI*MEDIAWIDGET ORDERFIND.COM MN 29.99. I traced orderfind.com to :

    Registrant:
    Digital River, Inc.
      9625 West 76th Street
      Eden Prairie, MN 55344
      US

      Domain Name: ORDERFIND.COM

      Administrative Contact:
      Digital River, Inc.
      9625 West 76th Street
      Eden Prairie, MN 55344
      US
      952-253-1234

      Technical Contact:
      Network Solutions, LLC.
      13861 Sunrise Valley Drive
      Herndon, VA 20171
      US
      1-888-642-9675 fax: 571-434-4620

However, when I call this number, they can find no charge to my debit card, so I filed a fraud claim with my bank. They will reimburse the charge and close the card. As far as I can see, mediawidget may be a program for iPod or iPhone and I have neither, nor did I order anything for my computer, as digitial river also has to do with various tech solutions for computers and there are extensive fraud complaints online about this group of domain names.

I was thinking of a fraud today also appeared to me that description in my bank account. but I checked my email and there was a notice to the company by automatically renewing my package to transfer music from ipod to computer. I bought it because I had an ipod nano and I lost the computer with the music of this ipod. So I could not retrieve the music on this ipod I had to move it to a newer one. This package allows extracting music from an ipod and transfers it to the computer in itunes to keep or transfer or other electronics, cd's, etc..

I had a charge on my VISA dated 08/ 04/ 2013 from DRI*MEDIAWIDGET ORDERFIND.COM MN for $29.99.  I've never heard of this company and certainly didn't order anything from them.  However, there was an update from iTunes to a fix a previous problem, which I installed in early August.  There was no mention of a price that I saw, and patches are always free.  I had my card closed.  If this charge came from iTunes, then its some very shady business.

DRI MEDIAWIDGET EASY showed up on my account for 163.00 plus a out of the country free of 3.25. My fraud department called me and asked if I had charged anything from outside the USA and I told them no and that I have never heard of them. They are refunding the charge.

It appears they sell software and then do an "automatic renewal" to a "subscription" that you never knew you subscribed to.
I ordered MediaWidget in Jan 2013 and saw the charge again (MediaWidget) this month (Jan 2014). Called to request it be reversed and the automatic renewal be cancelled. We shall see ... !! Seems like a bit of a scam to me!!

    Here's the company  -- http://www.bootstrapdevelopment.com/ipod-to-itunes-transfer

i also had an email from paypal saying £22 had been withdrawn from an account that I had set up with RegNow,
! payed them $29.99 over a year ago to transfer my music from my ipod back to ITunes,,the way I read it was that it was a ONE OFF payment.
It seems like some sort of scam to me,I have emailed them and also blocked them from my PayPal account as it vseems they had set up a standing order, Lets wait and see!!!

I purchased there software that did not work, I have since purchased a new computer and no longer have this software.
Some thirteen months later this company DRI Media Widget Easy has taken £22.99 from my visa card.
I have tried to contact them but keep getting put in a que and then i get cut off.
I have registered the fraud with my credit company.
As I now understand a large volume of companys do this, the law should be changed at least for the UK to protect us
from the small print or non visible print!!!!!

DRI Media Widget Easy have taken 232,49 DKK from my account without any justification. Allan (above) mentions " transfer of music from ipod back to ITunes" this is probably the link I have to them, but that was a couple of years ago.

Yeah I just got a pop up notice on my iPhone and found they had been charging me for 4 years and after convaluted and sparse information in the PayPal transaction I found that it is a software package for transferring items to and from an iPod to your computer. Or iPhone or iPad or whatever apple products you use and it's a yearly renewal service that the email goes to the junk folder so half of the people never notice, I didn't notice until tonight by chance and then went back and found a total of four charges going back to 2013 the software package is media widget easy iPod transfer so you have an idea I'll post a link to the download page so you have a idea if it's something you did use and didn't know it would auto Bill you yearly?

It's a ripoff so make sure to unsubscribe if you did accidentally buy this software
