Contact Chase's executive offices, or start with any contact number and work from there.

Jeff, this reminds me of a few years back when I moved into a new house and got a new phone number. Apparently my new number used to belong to a deadbeat of somesort named: (get this) James Stewart. After months of the collection calls asking for this person who didn't live here, I thought of impersonating Jimmy Stewart the deceased actor, and saying "I can't pay because I'm dead."

I don't suppose it would have worked, but the thought did make me chuckle.

But serously, you have rights against harassment by groups who continue to call you when you've told them that person does not live there. For details about what to do, contact the Collector Complaint Hotline at 800-379-0688, or visit www.careconnectusa.org/collection-complaints.asp.

I never have understood why people choose BofA.
They must have "kick me" written on their foreheads.
