Phone calls

I see this company name on the caller ID all the time. My husband answered, the guy calling asked for me, husband said I wasn't available the guy asked if he was my husband, then asked if this was a home phone number, husband said yes, the guy seemed surprised and couldn't hang up fast enough. What the heck are they?
