Telephone Scam

Got hit with this today.  The caller (a number in Montana) said I had won a raffle (?) in my town.  Supposedly, I was entered simply by shopping in town.  I was to receive a check (made out to me?  He got my name from my phone) for $2.5 Million and a brand new car.  He went through the whole spiel and answered my questions.  We got towards the end, and the last thing I had to do was pay 1% of the taxes due ($42,000).  As soon as I put the check in the mail, they'd show up at my house with the check and car.  At that point, I hung up.  Total scam.
