I keep getting these annoying 'recorded' calls from (402) 982-0579 in Omaha. They begin with this guy introducing himself as 'Scott' and after he's finished I have the option to press #1 to speak to an agent. When one comes on, I ask them to please quit calling me -  and they hang up in my face. I call the number back, get an option to press #1 and they say that no more calls will be made to my number. This has been going on for over a month now and I'm at the point to do some very disturbing harm to their phone system. I don't know who they are but I can't stand the constant calls. How in the devil do I get rid of these people? NOTHING WORKS!!!!!

Complaints against that number took off started today.
They ought to pass 100 by the end of the day.

Reported to be calling with various telemarketing scams, including "lower your credit card rate" scams.

    You might try this:

The company that called all of us is using a proxy call service called CitiStream. They claim that they are not the people that called, but one of their clients called using their call center. The only thing you can do is call CitiStream, give them the number that called you and they claim that they will have you removed from their client's list. They would not tell me who their client is that called me, only that they knew who it was and they would have my number removed within 24 hours.
CitiStream's number is 402-982-0200. I'm a little skeptical that they will actually remove my number, but it's the best I can do to stop these annoying calls.
    Caller ID: 402-982-0579"

Or file complaints with FTC and FCC for DNC and TCPA violations (failing to provide a way to stop telemarketing calls).

Grrr. The same company from Omaha (402) 982-0579 has been calling me for a month, with the annoying "Scott" who sounds like some ingratiating punk of a recent college grad.  The company does exactly as the previous posted says (actually hang up in your face) when you tell them not to call.  I have tried and tried to get off their list and am exasperated.  They call all the time at my baby's nap time, so you know how much animosity I have towards them now!
