Frequent Pre-recorded Telemarketing Messages

I have received frequent pre-recorded telemarketing messages from this and other companies.  Their common thread is that the number used to place these calls was provided by Digitcom.  These calls are illegal under current FCC regulations, and I have filed Form 1088 complaints.  My next step, if you do not take any corrective action such as account cancellation, will be to contact the California Attorney General's Office to submit a complaint.  By allowing the use of your service for pre-recorded telemarketing messages, you are abetting a criminal action.

This is also illegal under California law, which requires that all pre-recorded calls be preceeded by a human to ask whether you wish to listen to the call.

FTC rules as of a couple months ago require that all robocalls provide a method to opt-out from all future calls, such as by pressing a number at the beginning to indicate it.  If this call did not allow for opting-out, it is already a violation of FTC rules even if you are not on the Do Not Call list.

File complaints with the California AG and FTC against both Debt Leven Solutions and Digitcom.   There really is no point in waiting for further violations, since they will likely come regardless.
