3/ 2010 i was approved for the loan mod. program with BofA since then they have lost paperwork repeatedly.I have had to "requalify" 4 or 5 times since 3/2010. I have mailed & faxed modification paperwork more times than I can count.  I check back every couple of weeks and each time they tell me "my case is under review, someone will contact you" The only time I have been contacted was to say I was in foreclosure. When I call, no one at bofa has any idea what is going on with my loan.  The ask me to requalify or resend docs, or send "updated docs"  which I always do immediately. This last time, I had to start the whole process over in Feb because they had misplaced my file. After I was approved (again) and spending 30 minutes on the phone giving financials, they told me they would send a modify packet.  I had to call 4 times before I finally received it.  I mailed it in.  After not hearing from them for 2 weeks I called.  The did not have my docs.  They told me to fax it.  I did. twice.  I spoke to evelyn, she assured me the docs were in and being reviewed.  Since then I have checked in and spoken to numerous people who assured me I was under review. 3/10 I called to check, Reginald said they needed updated docs before they could go forward!! I immediately faxed the docs and called. Reginald assured me they were received. Today I called to check on the status & they told me they had nothing & I had to requalify again--to start all over! it has been over a year!

I went through the same thing regarding my loan modification. Quite honestly, no one should expect a loan modification from Bank of America because there is none. It is a trick to make you default and take your home. They make much more money that way. They could care less if you are dying, got an operation, lost your job or any other unexpected inconvenience that might happen in your life. Do not fall for their traps. This is called F-R-A-U-D!! They need to be exterminated like a bad roach infestation that has corrupted this country's economy.

They are committing widespread fraud. When you "mislead" millions of people to believe that you are going to help them and even make them miss payments in order to get a loan modification, that is called fraud:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fraud.

The unnecessary abuse that Bank of America has caused me and my family caused long-term damage. I might be impaired but I am still fighting back. Please read our press release: http://www.free-press-release.com/news-florid ... 1299633088.html

If you would like more information about Bank of America’s racketeering practices please read here: “Bank of America is a Racketeering Enterprise” Please read my article here: http://www.piggybankblog.com/2010/11/16/bofa-racketeering/

Everyone can do their part and sign a petition that will hold Bank of America accountable for RICO violations: Please sign this petition: http://www.change.org/petitions/the-president ... under-rico-laws

I highly suggest that you file a lawsuit against them because they have every intention of taking your house and not helping you. I was also targeted. These criminals need prison and nothing less. Let them whine all they want after they have fraudulently made huge amounts of money off of the backs of helpless homeowners.

I received a packet in January 2011 stating that I had been approved to have my mortgage permanently modified. It detailed the payment schedule for the next 25 years and all I had to do was sign the agreement along with the other documents and return them by January 23, 2011, which I did. I have been making my modified mortgage payments and they have been accepted by Bank of America. Now they are saying that the investors rejected my modification because my ex-wife didn't sign the papers. In the agreement there is a provision that says she doesn't have to sign because her interest was transferred to me via a divorce decree PRIOR to the beginning of the modification application based on MY financial information only. How can this happen???

Please contact me at theschwabfamily@yahoo.com if you can help!

I am in the same exact boat.  I have divorce decree and quick claim from ex and they rejected it.  Now he is being advised by his attorney not to sign the paperwork.  What ended up happening to you?

I was so mad for Bank of America because they did the same thing to me . I kept sending the forms by fax and they would say that I did not send them the forms they needed but the fax company would send them time after time . When I did get a response that because I was late giving them the forms they wanted, they denied my modification.  Even tho I can provide they got the papers.  It was if they never intended to help me in the first place and it told them 8 months to turn me down.. We can bail the banks out but the banks can play games with us..  They should be held accountable..  Where is our bail out?   Far as I am concern they are fraudss..      Dec. 7 2011

I ran into this page while searching places I need copy on my complaint against Bofa. I started my refinancing process since Feb of this year 2012, everything was going smoothly and all required docs submitted. Worst of all, the brokers made me ran late on my April payment because I was told that I will be closing before the last day of the due date. But two weeks before the projected closing date. They cut off communication with me very abruptly. My calls were not answered or returned, when they are answered, they promised to call back but never did. Secondly, they keep sending me FedEx delivered mails asking me to elect foreclosure, or sign up for counseling. I never missed payment more than five days!

    evil bank
we'd never made a late payment...
we both lost our jobs because of the "economic crisis in america"....
    couldn't refinance without any employment!
applied for the loan modification program but didn't qualify the first time...
we went through the "loan mod" process again and were told we qualified....
    but only after falling behind!
"congrats!....you're on your way to a more affordable mortgage!"
    (their ACTUAL statement!)
after many months of jumping through their hoops and over their hurdles and
experiencing the "lost paperwork" syndrome they finally
sent another letter again stating congratulations!
    here's your loan modification:
but they didn't lower the interest rate....
they didn't put the delinquent payments on the back end...
they didn't help by lowering the balance...
they actually UPPED the mortgage payment and demanded a check to bring the loan balance up to date!
too bad we couldn't afford to retain legal representation...
i KNOW they were just setting us up to foreclose...
so with all the equity we had...
and love of our home and location...
we ended up having to do a REVERSE MORTGAGE just to keep our home!
i think we got away from the evil bank just in time...
    but i guess i shouldn't complain....
we're still here where we always wanted to be...
while so many americans have lost their homes after doing business with this bank...
    beware!

    Pure Evil Bank op Americai
It has been 2 years now that I have been working on my loan modification w. BAC.  I have been shuffled from one person to the next.  .  Not returning my call. "Call my supervisor if you don't hear from me in 24 hours".  No call!!  Each one requesting more documents.  I have submitted more documents from every agency I could think of, even letters from doctors that were asked for  .   Denied, than sent to appeals department.  Asked for more of the same doucuments, and then more and more documents.   Denied now because I can't prove occupancy!!  Seriously. They asked for bank statements, utility bills.  All submitted but I still can't prove occupancy.  Come and see me here!  Now I have to give them my renters social security numbers.    NEVER ENOUGH.    I have heard that BAC has no intention of modifing my loan.  It's impossible to satisfy them.   I have never had anyone cause me so much stress and anger  in my life.  They even have a law firm set up ready to take my property.    Thank you Bank of America  and thank you underwriters whoever you mysterioulsy are!!

    Mrs. Good
Started the modification process in April of this year with BofA. They repeatedly needed more info so I'd send it to them via fax and email but they would get one page but not another, how is that possible?  Finally last month everything that was needed was received as of July 2nd according to my customer relation manager and they had 30 days to send me a decision.  Yesterday I spoke with my new CRM who said that a decision was made July 2nd and that a letter was sent but couldn't tell me what the letter said?  What a bunch of BS! How is it that I spoke with my original CRM after July 2nd but this guy is telling me the decision was made that day?  WTF!  I think it's time to contact an attorney.
