I got a scam phone call from Stepping Stone Entertainment (maker of amateur films), posing as a polling company today, and found several complaints about them at the Better Business Bureau. This company engages in misleading robocalls in violation of the Do Not Call registry. I will use the available tools to report this company. Note: the films produced by this company (see YouTube) have no redeeming value, and their main website shows only a placeholder page.

I got a call today asking me who I supported for president.  They then asked me if I would mind receiving calls in the future from Steppingstones Entertainment to take surveys about entertainment, sex in movies, and tv presentation of the news.  The said they were ponsored by a PAC.  When asked further questions, the man said he couldn't hear me and eventually hung up

I received a couple calls from steppingstone. The first call was about a PAC survey for presidential candidates and the second call was about two films, family movies, asking I to  purchase these two films - they will send an invoice. Before I hung-up they said; have the kids watch the movies.

I found a $16.00 charge on my bank statement today from Stepping Stone entertainment in Utah which I have never heard of. I've been trying to call them to find out what's going on but as yet I haven't gotten through I'll post more when I get ahold of someone.

I have been purchasing films from stepping stones since 2003. My girls are twins 10, 9, and 8. My husband, myself and our girls have LOVED their films. They are wholesome, clean and have wonderful moral message that helps reinforce the values we wish to teach our children. We have given them away as presents as well and the families that have received them, love them. I am not sure how anyone could say they "have no redeeming value" unless that individual has no belief in common morals, values or the Golden Rule. I know telemarketing can be annoying, as I am as busy as any other full time working mom, but I believe that is how I began to purchase these films myself.

I receive about 4-5 calls per day (caller I'd on television), I answered this morning to see what their issues were and why so many call. Brian said he was looking for my wife because she has a credit due to her. We have no kids and certainly don't "buy" kids movies. I told Brian to stop calling. He then informed me they didn't want to waste their money calling long distance! SCAM!!
