Underage children at site
Complaint

Every Sunday, or just about every Sunday I take a long 10 or 15 mile run inside Bally's small jogging track. At times I've tried to bring a 11 or 12 year old family member to join me and swim at the pool thereafter. I have always been told that Bally policy does not permit this. I abide. For the last year or so I have been in the poll with 9, 10, and 11 year olds who are allowed to go into the pool. I have complained and tried to reason with the front desk about this issue. Nothing effective has ever been done to resolve this practice. These last two Sundays really irked me, but more disappointed me. An 8 year old girl and her mom are allowed to go into the pool are. Last Sunday, from today's date, I was told that Bally's corporation had okayed family member's children be allowed in the pool as long as they were supervised because it is deemed safe. Further, the lady at the front desk (Leticia I think) told me that management at the Oakland site in Fort Worth (White Lake) had okayed allowing the 8 year old in. The core of my complaint is that I've tried again to bring in a family member and I'm still not allowed to do so. Other friend's of mine have tried to bring their children into the club, but they have been denied because of the safety issue involved. I'm disappointed that who comes in or who doesn't come in is simply an arbitrary decision depending on who is at the front desk. I'm asking that there be a consistent policy so that it can be clear if children can come in and at what age. Perhaps post the policy so that members can see what is acceptable, or what is not. I've gotten so many different takes from Bally personnel that I find it hard to convince myself who is being honest about policy. Please give me feedback on who can and can't come in, and at what age. Lazaro Nava Jr. Member
