I decided to cancel my DirectTV service because my two children moved out of our house. I called DirectTV and said they they will send me boxes for the equipment so I could ship it back to them. No problem. I waited for the boxes and shipped the equipment within days.

Two weeks later I noticed a charge on my checking account from DirectTV. I called DirectTV and after 1 hour of holding and switching between operators and was told that they charged me for the equipment.

I gave them the tracking number provided by USPS for the shipped boxes, and they said they will look into this and give me a call back.

No one called so I called again after 5 days. They did confirm that the boxes were received, and promised to credit me back within 5 business days. Nothing happened after a week of waiting. I called again they said the check was mailed. Another week passed by, I called again. The person was rude and told me the same thing. After a month I am still waiting for my refund.
