I was called repeatedly by this man with a horribly thick accent and he left message after message and mostly I couldn't understand anything until the messages because verbally abusive today and the man sang a dirty little song today on one of the messages that I won't repeat.  And he yelled at me and threatened to stop my Veterans benefits unless I paid the debt I supposedly owed.  I've never been talked to like this before on the phone and I ended up closing my bank account because of 2 unauthorized transaction attempts and I had to contact paypal to have them investigate a transaction that I didn't authorize that tried to come out of my bank account and I changed my number because the man called back, for instance in the space of 3 minutes he called back 6 times and left 3 messages.  2 of which I played for my Mom and like me she couldn't understand one of them and the other one was the dirty song he sang.  I don't need to be threatened like that. Or have someone try and get into my personal accounts like that.  I intend on reporting this to whomever I can report it to.

P.S. I forgot to say the calls had been going on for 3 weeks and there just has to be something that we can all do to prevent this from happening and put these people behind bars where they belong.  The last time I spoke to someone calling himself Bruce and I'm sorry this may be unpolitically correct to say this but no one with an accent so thick you can't understand a single word on their messages is named Bruce.  This was one of many names they used and they used many phone numbers I have at least 5 stored in my phone but the vast majority of the time they called from "private" or "unknown" or a bunch of numbers that were no phone number I've ever seen which makes me believe that the other person who wrote in was right and it is a VOIP.  An internet phone. I'm still mad about this.

I am 100% that's the awful voice of that same indian who's scamming as a debt collector using names like jeffrey cage/cade, ,justin brooks, mark white, eric brown and etc... They use diff. Names and uses magic jacks that you can buy one, an internet phone line for less than 30 bucks and you can renew for around 20 bucks per year i think the better solution for this is to banned those magic jacks or any other companies that are selling this kind of communication, the scamming and threatening keeps growing everyday and it will never stop until we all bring it to the attention of the media or even the congress to solve this matter..once we knew their scam right away they'll use diff. Scam... It's still better just to use a phone card in calling other countries than having this magic jack that all over the world can scam or threatened you!!!

This is a common scam run from India.
    The debts are fake.
    The threats are fake.
    They are fake.

If you have any doubts, just contact the FBI.

I don't doubt some of you have received calls from this scam. I would appreciate if someone could provide a number for this "Cannon Legal Group."  I am an attorney in California (and I assure you, I don't have an Indian accent), and when I look up google results for my firm, I see two negative reports regarding this person who is totally unaffiliated with me.  Making matters worse is my website is www.cannonlegalgroup.com.  If anyone can provide additional info so I can at least send some kind of cease and desist letter, I would greatly appreciate it.
