Husky 2000psi pressure washer

I bought this Husky 2000psi power washer at Home Depot and used it three times with no problem.
Then, the fourth time it worked fine for about ten minutes, then lost significant water pressure,and none of the system indicator lights (low, medium, high) will light up anymore. When the unitiis turned on, and the nozzle is used, some water does exit the nozzle, but it it is just a light
stream that spans about 30 feet with less pressure than a normal water hose.
I contacted Husky and was told that the pump was bad and it would be less costly to buy a new
unit vs. replacing the pump. If the pump is bad, then why is there any water stream at all? Andwhy should a pump go bad after only four uses? I am extremely dissatisfied with this product, and I do not trust the advice received from Husky. Without some favorable response from Husky, I will never trust nor purchase a Husky product again.
