I received a voice mail message at 3:18 pm on 1-8-09. The phone number on my caller ID was 703-291-9047. The message was from Book Keepers US which was founded by a CPA advertising their help in finding me qualified staff. They left the number of 305-815-6162 for a return phone call.

    From many reports, appears to be a telemarketing call center calling for a number of possibly shady companies.  Some indications there may be an overseas call center, possibly in India.

    Every evening around dinnertime, without fail, this robocall from "Rachel at card services" phones.  I've tried everything I can think of to make them stop.  (The DNC list in NY is a joke.)  I pressed 1 and got a guy on the line.  I begged him to leave me alone, as my dad is in hospice in my home. That particular day, I actually began to cry while talking to this person.  He said he would take me off their call list, but that was weeks ago.  If anything, the calls have escalated to twice a day. If I press 1 and wait for a person, somebody usually comes on the line.  When I ask nicely to not be called, they hang up mid-sentence.  If I yell at them, they tell me to calm down, then hang up on me. I don't know of a more persistent or more evil bunch of scammer/harrassers than these. Isn't there anything I can do to make the stop?

    I am not sure of the dates of these posts but I have received three calls from 703-291-9047 in Dec 2008. The call is from the Church of Scientology inviting someone unnamed to a special event in Tampa Florida.  The call sounded like a prerecording on my voice mail but, then they all talk like that normally. The message: "You've enjoyed my tone skill events in the past. Join us on the 3rd of January for a very different event that willget  you very excited. Call the Tampa Org for details. We'll see you there."  Area codes mean nothing these days as organizations such as this often use different numbers to hide their identities.

    These predators call 3 to 5 times a day. They use different caller ID's, some of the companies I have seen them identify themselves as are, CARD SERVICES, ACCOUNT SERVICES, CREDIT SERVICES among others.
