    Fed Up!
They call every day and fill up my answering machine. If you want to have a little fun, press 0 when the recorded message is playing. This will put you to a representative. They will answer "Thank you for calling, are you contacting us regarding your account?" Then hand the phone to either a 2 year old or just mess with them any way you can. They will hang up on you, but take pleasure in wasting at least a few minutes of their time. After all, they make a living wasting yours.
They just called me a few minutes ago. I hit 0 and got a lady and began frantically screaming about the the UFO that had landed in my yard and was trying to abduct me. Kept her on the line for almost 6 minutes!
I will continue being creative with these people until they leave me alone!
    Peace!

Do NOT give them any identity information, or bank account or credit card numbers, or you may find they charge your accounts and claim you "agreed" to pay for their services.

    Annoyed
I thought recorded phone messages like this were not allowed. If it comes in again I will press 0 and tell them to
remove the number or else risk a report.  To bad they have no other way of earning money but to harrass people

I agree.  Since apparently there is no government agency on any level that will do anything about these calls, mess with their heads.  Follow the instruction to speak to a representative and do anything you can to get them pissed off that you had the nerve to disturb them as much as they disturb us.

Good luck with asking them to remove your number from the call list. I received "that is not an option" when I asked. Perhaps the best option is to waste their time. Time they won't get paid for. If one does it often enough, someone might just get ticked off enough to remove a telephone number. Although I still like the police whistle in the ear idea.

Make a note of date and time of call.  Get the number they are calling from.  Report it at www.donotcall.gov.  There is an option to check that it was a recorded message, etc.  These people are probably hard to catch because i have noticed the recorded message for Credit Card Services comes from a different # each time.

    FILE A COMPLAINT

You may file a complaint if you received an unwanted call after your number was on the National Registry for 31 days.

You may also file a complaint if you received a call that used a recorded message instead of a live person (whether or not your number was on the Registry).

I got a call from Rachael today, pressed 0 and got an agent. I asked him the company name and phone #. As the agent reluctantly started to give me the info, some other guy (sounded like the lines got crossed) started saying really obscene things. The agent was acting like it had nothing to do with him, but I doubt it. I think they are calling to get people's credit card # and some other personal info. I'm sure they'll call me again (and again). I researched online and for now there seems to be nothing we can do with this stupid call. I think I'm going to get a whistle and blow it really hard into the phone when I get the agent again.

This is what I just bought to block their calls. It works beautifully.

I have stopped asking them 'not to call' or even being polite ...we all know that does not work. I will wait until I get an operator and then hold the phone up to my fire alarm detector and 'test it'.... everyone has them.  It doesn't do anything, prove anything; but it just feels good ... and also tests my fire alarm detector.

I remember when the phone companies would handle unwanted calls that a consumer reported. No more.
