Wrong commitment by Dealer for service

Dear Sir / Madam
I bought a Dell TFT Monitor. I was facing display problem . when we gave for repairing the dealer he had told your TFT gone Bangalore. You become after 15 day’s . when we call yesterday calling him. He told your TFT will be repaired chargeable base and your charge are Rs. 3000 . But my TFT has warranty period so we haven’t get this amount . Please suggest me this situation . Have i do ?
