Calls and asks for the owner of the company to update Google business listing. They won't speak to anyone else just to update a listing. I've asked them to stop calling but they won't.
I have an AT&T cordless landline phone that screens and blocks unwanted calls. Paetec Starnet calls at least once a day, and I've blocked them calling from close to at least a half dozen different numbers.
They call me at least 3 times a day. I try to block them on my cell. But, somehow they keep getting through. I never answer the call. If I don't know the number on my phone I never answer.
I have that phone too but it did not block this one. They did leave a message said something about my is wrong with my ss # and to call a number, of course I didn't call it.
Today, I received 3 calls in a row from Starnet Paetec. I ignored the first 2. Then I picked up the 3rd call. A man said "Yes, I'm calling you today because we would like to..Wait..can you hear me okay"? I immediately hung up. It could have been one of those trying to charge me with something calls.
They call me all the time too, I can’t get rid of them, but heard never answer yes you can hear them, they can then use your voice to put on questions they ask, and they have your voice saying yes, someone’s said they answered I hear you fine, but they kept asking, can you hear me,,so not only are they driving us nuts,,they may me scamsing without us knowing by gettin our voice with yes on it,,,BE VERY CAREFUL, just wish someone could stop them,
Sucks. They change the numbers. Google should do something to stop the scam. Also they share our ID for profit and all sort of annoying things comes to my phone
Nope. If your number is listed with National Do Not Call registry, they can get fined. But it is hard to get anything done about it, actually. I’ve tried! Putting them on your ‘block this contact’ list does not get them fined!
