I booked a ticket through CheapOair. Due to medical emergency, we needed to reschedule the tickets. Cheapoair charged us 1000 dollars extra fees for that. When we requested cancellation of tickets instead they refused saying tickets were nonrefundable. Their point about 1000 dollar extra fees was the prices of tickets on the route from New York to New Delhi had increased, which is in itself a scam. We agreed to paid 1000 dollar extra instead of loosing all the money. After that, unfortunately, we needed to reschedule tickets second time, This time around cheapoair would increase the rescheduling charge up to 2000 dollars for the same tickets. We decided to buy entirely new tickets from other airlines which was much more cheaper option. Finally, when we asked cheapoair to refund us the ticket charges excluding their cancellation fees. They would tell us, these tickets were non-refundable and had us contacted United Airlines directly. United Airlines won't listen us, their argument being that because we purchased tickets through cheapoair, they have to refund you back. Finally, cheapoair refused to refund entire amount back

Shazia, very sorry to hear our your recent booking experience. Please submit your 8 digit booking number to sm@cheapoair.com so  that we can review the reservation. It sounds as though the tickets are non refundable, therefore they are not refundable, perhaps if you have travel insurance that was purchased this would of covered your purchase for medical reasons. The fees for the additional cost are the cost difference in airfare, and each ticket has an airline penalty, and is based on the fare rules of your ticket. Even if you purchased new tickets, anything pertaining to the old tickets is still non refundable. You can get a complete list of our terms and conditions on our website.
