Rust on stainless refrigerator door

My two year Kitchen Aid refrigerator developed rust spot on the bottom freezer door. The company won't give any support because its over a year old. The highest I got is a supervisor who thought giving me a brand new one for $1189 was a good offer. I paid $1600 for it. Sure is nice to sell me a refrigerator every two years! What makes them think I would ever buy another Kitchen Aid product. Very disappointing! My whole kitchen, when done in the 80's was Kitchen Aid. After Hurricane Sandy hit and it had to be redone, I went with Kitchen Aid again! I was loyal to them but obv not reciprocated!
