Whirlpool doesn't care about their customers

My husband purchased a whirlpool double oven and installed it in 2003 as a surprise kitchen remodel for me. After three short months the clock went out on the digital display. I called the whirlpool customer service # and was told that part was not covered under the warrantee so I called my service man , which just happens to be the same service Whirlpool uses ,Wright. He told me it would cost around $300 because everything was attached together and was one part. Since I did not have $300 to put into a new oven I decided to just live without the clock. Now 10 years later, the fan will not shut off. I called my service man Mr. Wright, and again it is the same part that was not covered 10 years ago except now the part is no longer available and the only way to fix my oven is to send off the part and have it rebuilt of course all at the tune of again over $300 when all is said and done. It is holiday season coming up and I use my oven a lot during this time of year, so naturally that is not an option, so I have to turn my oven on and off by way of my breaker box. I called your customer care again to see if Whirlpool valued me as a customer, which I figured they would not because my daughter just a few short months ago had a 7 year old Whirlpool washer go out because the spider arm that holds the drum literally eroded from washing detergent. Whirlpool said they quit putting those kind of spider arms in their front loader washers because of that problem shortly after she had bought hers. But did not care at all about her situation. So she bought a new LG and swears off Whirlpool. Now here I am same situation. And again Whirlpool could care less. The customer service person now tells me that in 03 that part was covered under my warrantee. Had I known that and not been misinformed by your customer service representative, I would not be having this problem today. I know nothing will come out of this, so I will be giving my complaint to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
