Car Repair
Complaint

I took in my Nissan Murano to the Nissan Service Center on 7/17/17 because it started to shake when I would go 50 mph. They told me that the passenger side cv axle needed to be replaced as well as both lower control arms and rear motor mount. An inspector had to go look at the car which he did on 7/18/17. The repairs were approved on 7/19/17 but the parts had to come from autozone which I have no problem with since thats in the contract. They said the parts would arrive on Wednesday evening but the next day they said it would arrive on 7/20/17 by 4pm. Thursday comes and they said it would arrive on 7/21/17 by 4pm which they did but unfortunately the shop couldn't do the repairs until next week. Following week comes along and the repair facility informs me that they were given the wrong parts. They sent the repair facility the driver side cv axle and the front motor mount. I contact CarChex/American Autoshield on Tuesday and they tell me they will send an email to autozone following up on the status of the correct parts. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday come along and no word from them. Its now Monday, 7/31/17 and still there is no word about the correct parts. I've only been given 4 days rental so I've been paying out of pocket for my own rental. I think I've been more than patient waiting for more than 2 weeks, when I call in no one can give me a definite answer as to when I can receive the correct parts, which is crazy since the repair facility has the parts needed in stock. I'm on vacation right nyow and instead of using my own car that should have been fixed by now but instead I had to rent one, and instead of enjoying my vacation I have to keep following up the status of my car, and what's worse is my car might not be fixed by the time I get home...
