beware sol mar car hire

Just returned from business trip to BCN and Zaragoza last month. Used Last Minute for car hire. Their vendor SolMar has double charged me for the VAT, and charged me for alleged damage to the glove box, though they did not even look in it in my presence. It seemed that they systematically use the language barrier as an excuse to rip off non-Spanish speaking customers. I have filed a complaint with a CSR from SolMar, no response, and Last Minute was unsuccessful in getting me a 75Euro credit, though they did try. I would stay away from this company! I have had better car hire experiences in 3rd world countries! SolMar is SO MAL!
