Couch started breaking down after 6 months

We bought a couch/loveseat from Ashley furniture after 6 months it started falling apart. The frame separted from the legs. We had a Ashley rep. come out and take a look at it and he actually said " It's falling apart because Ashley furniture is terrible, its built to be replaced. It does not last!!" He put in a few screws to try and tighten it up but we are now looking for a new couch. NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IF YOU WANT IT TO LAST MORE THEN A YEAR OR TWO.
