My PC screen turned orange one day.A automated voice said my PC alerted Microsoft that it may be infected.I had no control of my PC.It had an 888 toll free number to call.It claimed it was Microsoft technicians.Wanted to charge me over $4.00 plus dollars.I told them I don’t have four hundred dollars and hung up.Then I called a company to try and help with this issue. The company is called GuruAid,they’re a total ripoff. They asked for $2.99 for two years.I said I can’t afford two hundred dollars. They asked for my bank account number,do you know the bank gave them two hundred and ninety nine dollars of which I only had forty dollars in my account. Then I was told by GuruAid I could put the money back in my account the next day.As if they knew I could. This company is supposed to tune up my PC until August of 2019 stopped allowing them to take remote control of my PC,because they were causing other problems w/ my PC.Our local politicians need to intervene with such criminals, stop them from ripping off consumers. They’re worst than criminal hackers.
