Fraudulent Charge

So, instead of JUST posting complaints, let's all go to the online stores and make it known to them we aren't going to use them until they do something about this! Complaint lodging is great, but let's face it - money talks!

If you are getting fraudulent charges, IMMEDIATELY block the card number, and submit a fraud dispute to your bank. Your bank can reverse fraudulent charges if you dispute promptly.
In addition, you can file EFT theft complaints with the Secret Service
It is the banks that are failing to shut of the continuing fraud.
They don't appear to think there is any problem, that as long as eventually you get your money back, you are OK with that.
If you want better, kick up a stink. Post the same complaints on other sites, and if your VISA or MasterCard debit card was the instrument used to steal from your checking account, say so.
Remember the "Christmas" VISA debit card ads? All the happy shoppers swiping their cards, Christmas money machine running along smoothly until someone didn't use a VISA debit card?
The banks don't value the money in your account. It's not their money, and not their problem when you can't use it cause it's stolen. I'm sure they will gladly loan you some money (at a ridiculous interest rate) until they get around to returning yours.
They advertise debit cards as "safe", but in the end, all they promised was to put it back in a couple weeks (but only if you catch it in time), so why aren't you happy? Why do you have any problem with exposing your money to this risk?
What they value is the higher profits they make from debit cards, through merchant fees for paying them with your own money not theirs, rather than floating the payment until the next statement as with a credit card.
If they value their brand, they better place a value on the nuisance they are putting you through when money disappears from your checking account.
