I consolidated my standard bank personal loan a month back,to my surprise,they still debited from my account this month.I then phoned customer care,they assured me someone will contact me within 3 working days regarding this matter.after 5 working days I ph agen,this consultant now tells me I should go and speak to a customer consultant,when I come to vangate branch they tell me to stand in the enquiries line,which is dead full.I am six months pregnant and left,the following week I persist again,this time the consultant himself lays a complaint because they didn't get back to him,I stand an hour waiting for responses,my feet all swollen,also just the day before I got a ph call from a consultant saying I shouls just go into the bank to close the account because my account is settled,I felt like I wanted to faint,he then said because he layed a complaint they will ph me within 2 working days,4 has passed and still no response,everytime I get a pre recorded ph message on my ph saying I'm in arrears.I'm soo disgusted at standard bank and their service and expect some kind of answers,if this is how clients are treated,then I dnt want to associate myself with this bank ever!!!
